‘Borders’ Exhibition

Time: 11:00-19:00
Venue: Art’s Complex, St. Margaret's House, 151 London Road, EH7 6AE, Gallery 1 (3rd Floor)
Entry: FREE Admission

The exhibition will incorporate the work of 28 national and international artists from different disciplines who contributed works for the theme Borders, including Video, Sculpture, Installation, Painting, Drawing, Photography and Performance.

Artists have been selected from a wide range of geographical areas including Canada, USA, France, United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Hungary, Sweden, Germany, Republic of Ireland, South Korea, and Iran.

The exhibition will create the conditions for an open and continuous dialogue between different cultures whilst promoting the exchange of arts and cultural experiences. Borders aims to show the shifting notions of what constitutes a border on a personal or artistic level or as a concept that defines and divides our lives socially, economically and politically.

The Edinburgh Iranian Festival’s Borders exhibition is very pleased to collaborate with the Art’s Complex, with the support of Arts & Business Scotland and Highlander.
