A mini Iranian bazaar, with stalls selling Iranian products including: accessories, handicrafts, musical instruments, postcards & greeting cards, CDs, DVDs, and food products.
Date / Time: 28 Jan (14:00-18:00) & 29/30th Jan (10:00-18:00)
Venue: St John’s Church (Rear Hall), West End Princes St., Edinburgh, EH2 4BJ
Entry: FREE Admission
The bazaar will contain a Café/Tea House (چایخانه). The Café will provide popular Iranian snacks and sweets, and hopefully also Iranian soup (Aash Reshteh - آش رشته). Cakes and sweets made by the Green Gable Bakery will also be available at the Café. http://greengablesbakery.webs.com
The Filmhouse, one of Edinburgh’s well known venues for world cinema, will have a stall selling a collection of Iranian and Middle Eastern DVDs. Other stalls will sell Iranian pop and traditional music CDs, as well as some Iranian musical instruments such as Santour.
Enjoy the atmosphere of a Persian Bazaar, created inside the Persian Rug Village stall, while discovering beautiful handicrafts from Persia.
